Hotel Windthorst - Munster (North Rhine-Westphalia)

This hotel is a hidden gem in a convenient location. It is very near the train station and situated on a pedestrian street, making it easy to explore the town. The rooms are well-equipped with excellent facilities and offer a nice view over the park. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast provided is delicious and offers a good start to the day.

No negative aspects to mention, everything was great.

The hotel is equipped with good WLAN. The rooms are attractively bright and clean. Also the wet area. Nothing is missing there, everything is available, like soap, shower gel and shampoo as well as cosmetic mirror and hairdryer. A television is available in the room. The windows are well soundproofed, which was also necessary in my room. There is also a fan and a thin additional ceiling.

I was there during a high temperature phase, up to 32 °C were reached. But I could not ventilate because it was very loud outside. And unfortunately there is no air conditioning. The thin ceiling helped a little bit. But I could only really sleep after I opened the window at 12:30 a.m. Now it was calmer outside and with 21°C also a little bit cooler. Around 05:00 o'clock the rush hour woke me up.

The hotel is a "stone's throw" from the train station. Therefore recommended for train travelers. The way to the city centre and its sights is, depending on the sights, made quite fast.

One cannot say as not fallen now in such a way, therefore only as remarks if changes are pending: 1) create more storage space in the bathroom, for 2 persons a little bit less. 2) change the currently high shower entrance to a lower one. The high shower entrance was "still" manageable for us, but for people with limited mobility, this might be a bit more difficult. The elevator was audible in our room, this may be different in other rooms, so this sentence is also only meant as an indication. We could live with it during our short stay :-)

This hotel is perfect for those looking for good value for money. The prices were reasonable and the hotel went above and beyond in terms of attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, accommodating, and spoke excellent English. The location of the hotel is unbeatable - situated on a pedestrian street, it is next to the city center and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The rooms were well-appointed with excellent facilities, including en-suite bathrooms and appealing decor. Additionally, the breakfast offered a great selection of high-quality items.

All was more than satisfactory, nothing to improve.

I spent a weekend at this hotel and I really appreciated the easy access to public transportation, which made it very convenient to explore the nearby area. the breakfast hall was nicely decorated, and the breakfast options were delicious and affordable. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, which made for a pleasant stay.

My experience at this hotel was not entirely positive. the noise outside the hotel was unbearable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The personnel is very friendly and the hotel is very comfortable and is very near to the railway station. Also the Wi-Fi in the hotel was free.

The reception desk closes at 10 pm and if you arrive after 6 pm you need to tell so beforehand.

The hotel is in a great location for business travelers, very close to the train station and within walking distance of the city center. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly service of the staff. the breakfast was delicious and the view from our room was spectacular. We also appreciated the hotel's commitment to being environmentally friendly.

The front desk was closed at certain times which caused some inconvenience.

Hotel staff very helpful and courteous. Breakfast buffet was reasonably good, and free Wi-fi very convenient. Good value hotel with a location very near to the Rail Station.

A shame that Reception did not always remain open over evenings, but this was easily overcome with a bit of planning once I was made aware of this.
